Had a booking from 11-1. No communication on where they were. Had to phone them myself and find out they had a big job in the morning and by the time they started my move, they didnt even seem motivated to move quickly so ended up taking even longer than it should have and they just seemed to not care about the move. Damage to the house and the furniture and didnt ask where to put some of the furniture once arrived at the new place.

Fantastic job! So happy with Laurie and Justin. They helped with the pack up and they were so good to work with; professional, friendly and caring about the job. AND because our belongings were going into a storage shed they were amazing and efficient at packing the truck in such a way that when they packed into the shed that 1) it all fit and 2) we could get to the boxes we might need. So happy to have gone with the packing prior to the move. Thank You!!

We had Cockburn Removals booked in for a Saturday and they quoted us for a reasonable price which we agreed on. On the arrival of the truck it was a different company as Cockburn Removals passed it onto them. We had no communication of the change and with that we where charged a higher price of $20 more an hour for the removal.Even after the job was done I contact Cockburn Removals the lady was rude and was trying to make up other stories about the job.I would not recommend Cockburn Removals to anyone as they will most probably put you in the same vote or make your experience worse.

Everything was just perfect when using Cockburn Removals services. Daniele was very helpful and efficient. I would like to express my special gratitude to Laurie and Jacob who helped us during our moving. They are extremely careful and very professional. We have a massive table that is 450Kg heavy and it was a piece of cake for them!!! Don't think twice. Call them if you need help; you won't regret it. Thank you for everything.

The driver refused liability for damage to private property. Requests were ignored to provide the insurer's confirmation denying liability, or the insurer's contact information to discuss further the assessor's claim report. It was a disappointing way to end an otherwise good job. Unfortunately we will not use again, nor recommend.

I've just had the pleasure of Cockburn Removals help me to move home. The two removalist who turned up were; on time, friendly, professional and fast. Nothing was damaged, great care was taken whilst packing and unpacking furniture and stairs were negotiated with ease. Good rates and great service, means I'm happy to recommend and will definitely use their help again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They were booked weeks in advance for a house move. We have two small children so moving house is stressful enough with no family here. We were selective about getting a locally based removals company to minimise travel time. Cockburn Removals called 5 MINUTES before they were due to arrive to CANCEL the job. They did NOT have a back up plan. One staff member, the driver, was sick so the whole job did not happen. We were not provided with a service from an alternative company or even a staff member to fill in. They essentially left us homeless had we not taken the situation in to our own hands. We booked a van OURSELVES and did a huge amount of heavy lifting on our own with the two small kids in tow and with one phone call later that morning, after waiting to hear back from Cockburn Removals to no avail, found a removals company to help with big items. How she couldn't find a replacement is beyond me when we made one phone call after giving up on her useless help and sorted the issue ourselves. UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL and a huge source of stress for us. I will not be recommending them to anyone and I hope this review stretches far and wide so that they are known for their horrendous service.

Poor quality customer service - Had a booking from a period of 11-1pm for home removals which was booked from one week prior. No show. I had to call them twice to prompt the whereabouts, or ETA. Said they would communicate 30 minutes before they got here, but they were over an hour with no call back. Ended up waiting 2 hours to only receive a call saying their truck cannot reverse" and will not be completing our removals today? Even though they mentioned they were just finishing up a job in Treeby which we waited 2 hours post our window. Lady/receptionist was rude on the phone
